How many lessons do I need?

Impossible to say until we have properly assessed you, as each client learns at a different pace and have varying levels of experience.

We aim to get you to test standard at a pace that suits you, however we do not actively encourage our clients to attempt the test until we assess that they can confidently and safely attempt it with a high chance of passing 1st time around.

Costs?

In current times, value for money is close to everyone’s hearts (and pockets!), and our prices endeavour to provide you with affordable flexible options that are highly competitive compared with both other national and local Driving schools – see our tariff and offers pages to see which options suit your circumstances best.

Considering Intensive?

We believe that the learning experience is as unique as the individual, and therefore Intensive courses whilst suited to some are detrimental to others.

Certainly Intensive courses can be considered based on candidate suitability and circumstances, however we prefer to adopt a more gradual program by limiting our tuition per client to 3 sessions (6hrs maximum) per week. We believe this helps alleviate stress, improves focus and concentration and reinforces learning.

So are we right for you?

Making the decision to drive whether you are experienced or not can be a daunting experience. And we aim to put you at ease by offering a unique service.

By offering our clients an informal get to know you meeting with your instructor (at no cost) it provides the opportunity to break the ice, understanding their needs or motives for learning to drive, and more importantly for the client to decide if we are right for them.

Many of our prospective clients become clients, however, the few who don’t not are offered details of other high quality tutors matching their needs, and are welcome to contact us anytime they wish for impartial advice.

What happens when I pass?

Well choice is entirely yours – once you have your pink licence the world is quite literally your Oyster, of course, we would like to think you will retain and practise many of the techniques we have taught you, however we do strongly recommend considering undertaking the Pass Plus Scheme. The course helps consolidate good driving practise and prepares the pupil for other “real life” driving situations and environments that may not have been covered during Provisional training – such as Motorways, all weather (possibly adverse conditions) darkness, rural and so on. On completion of the course, the holder is then entitled to reduced cost insurance amongst other benefits. For more information, contact us for a chat.

As the first actively Eco responsible Driving School in the region our aims are clear.

 To train our pupils to an independent level of Driving excellence, on flexible terms, at a fair cost, (lessons begin from £18) at a pace that suits them. Our methods of teaching include proactive, defensive, courteous, and eco driving.  In addition, full support and materials are provided free of charge to any pupil studying for the Theory Test, passing this is essential to paving the journey to attempting the practical element.

Many of our pupils pass these official DSA tests relatively quickly, many at the first attempt, and we encourage all of them to continue using the methods learned with due consideration for their own and other road users safety as priority.


As part of our commitment to the environment, each pupil passing their test receives their very own “Plant a tree for life” helping offset their future Carbon Emissions for years to come.
