Welcome to Island Garden Nursery

Established in 1983, Island Garden Nursery is a plant lover's paradise set on the outskirts of Weymouth right on the banks of the River Wey. Described by one client as "how they hope heaven will be" the nursery offers a vast selection of plants for all types of gardener from novice to discerning and we take great pride on both the quality of the plants and the freely given advice about them.

If you are looking for quality and choice then Island Garden Nursery is the place to visit.

The nursery was created and is personally run by Jan and Jim Willment who have always grown hundreds of varieties of geraniums and fuschias including many you are unlikely to see elsewhere. Also in stock is a wide variety of perennials from small to large and shrubs, alpines, conifers and the like.

Island Garden Nursery Weymouth is renowned for its expertise with hanging baskets. We take private and commerical orders for our fabulous hanging displays, and Jan offers classes every Monday and Tuesday (not bank holidays) throughout May for those of you who would like to learn how to create your own wonderful displays. With such a wide variety of plants to choose from on site you can create your very own unique colour schemes or even a mini haven for wild life if you wish.
