For a quick solution to your boiler breakdown problems call our team of engineers and avoid turning your boiler breakdown into a nervous breakdown. And if the worst should happen and you find yourself in the situation where a new boiler is necessary, we can take you through the options available whether it be for a whole new heating system or just replacing your old boiler (with this option we would always recommend flushing the entire existing system). We will look at the type of boiler suited to you, depending on your hot water requirements and the size of your property. Helping you to choose one that will ensure high efficiency and ultimately be economical, whether you choose: A combination boiler which heats your water instantaneously on opening a hot tap so no storage cylinder is necessary. A system boiler which is designed to generate heat for your home as well as hot water that can be stored in a separate cylinder. A heat only boiler which works in conjunction with a hot water storage cylinder and cold water top up tanks to provide both central heating and hot water. If you decide upon having a whole new central heating system then our role is to take the hassle out of the whole process for you. We do this by guiding you through the maze of different products and systems to ensure that what we install products that comply fully with British Safety Standards and manufactured by leading brand names.
Landlords Gas Safety Checks
Landlords are your properties safe and legal? As you are aware, each gas installation in UK rented accommodation is now, by Law, required to be Gas Safety Checked and certified safe annually. Landlords are responsible for ensuring that all gas boilers, fires and other appliances are safe for tenants to use. These tests will bring to light any gas leaks, or poisonous carbon monoxide (CO) leaks as well as any repairable faults. As you are aware regular servicing of boilers and appliances not only protects you and your tenants, but also the life of the boiler. Here at Wessex Plumbing and Heating, we are experienced with working for Letting Agencies covering Dorset and the West Country as well as individual landlords. Our engineers are all Corgi registered and have various other qualifications to the highest levels of domestic plumbing. We are a member of the Water Industry Approved Plumbing Scheme. We have also for several years held Accreditation with Exor enabling us to be able to carry out Local Government Works. Within the company we have a specialist Drain Division proficient in dealing with all drainage problems. Our trained and proficiency tested drainage engineers are all fully qualified in the clearing of blocked drains, blocked toilets and waste pipes. They carry Hi-Tech Jetting Equipment which can be used to clear even the worst of Blockages. CCTV Camera Survey Equipment is available, a full camera survey can be supplied for the use of Insurance companies when dealing with possible cracked drains needing replacement or re-lining. All employees of the company are well trained in aspects of both the company’s Health and Safety, and Environmental Policies both of which are regularly updated. All employees will adhere strictly to these and any individual construction site regulations. Within the above all employees are provided with the necessary safety equipment.
